Local government leaders, nonpartisan civic organizations, and local student groups or others who can do one of the following are welcome to apply: Educate, provide information, inspire children to be active in their community (for example, community organizations that have volunteer opportunities for children), or serve as civic role models. If you are interested in attending as a participant, you are required to provide non-partisan, child-centered activities and/or information related to civic engagement during the event.
